We’re looking for an experienced Jewellery Buyer & Production Manager to take ownership of the full jewellery product lifecycle — from sourcing and buying through to production, pricing, stock control, quality and product development.

This is a key role for someone with strong jewellery knowledge, excellent attention to detail, commercial buying ability and the discipline to manage stock, suppliers, pricing, custom orders and production from start to finish.

The ideal candidate will have experience across diamonds, coloured gemstones, jewellery production, CAD workflows, stock control and supplier management.

Your Role

• Buying & Sourcing – Source and purchase GIA diamonds, parcel diamonds, coloured gemstones, materials and finished jewellery.
• Product Development – Develop new jewellery designs, product ranges and collections based on customer demand, sales trends and business priorities.
• Production Management – Manage custom jewellery and production workflows, including CAD, quoting, production, quality control and delivery.
• Supplier Management – Build strong supplier relationships and negotiate effectively on price, quality, timelines and terms.
• Stock & Merchandising – Review stock levels, identify gaps, slow-moving items, replenishment needs and new buying opportunities.
• Pricing & Margins – Use strong maths and commercial judgement when assessing costings, margins, pricing and buying decisions.
• Stock Control & Quality – Manage incoming stock, checking, quality control, pricing, product records and presentation standards.
• Process Improvement – Help improve purchasing, production, replenishment, forecasting and stock management systems.
• Showroom & Sales Support – While this is primarily a buying, production and product role, supporting the showroom team with client enquiries, sales appointments and product advice when required is also part of the role.

What We’re Looking For

• Jewellery Industry Experience – Strong experience in fine jewellery, diamonds, gemstones, production, buying or merchandising.
• Diamond Knowledge – Strong knowledge of GIA diamonds, parcel diamonds, diamond pricing and value assessment.
• Coloured Gemstone Experience – Experience with emeralds, rubies, sapphires and other coloured gemstones is highly regarded.
• Production & CAD Understanding – Able to manage jewellery production and CAD workflows from start to finish.
• Strong Supplier Management – Confident sourcing, negotiating and maintaining supplier relationships.
• Commercial Buying Ability – Understands stock planning, margins, pricing, sell-through and customer demand.
• Excellent Attention to Detail – Strong eye for jewellery design, quality, finish, gemstones and production details.
• Strong Numbers & Systems Skills – Confident with numbers, costings, stock systems, spreadsheets and reporting.
• Highly Trustworthy & Ethical – Able to handle confidential supplier, pricing, stock and business information with discretion.
• Organised & Process-Driven – Able to manage multiple jobs, suppliers, custom orders and deadlines at once.
• Hands-On Team Player – Willing to support the showroom, production team and leadership team where required.
