We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Data Capturer to join our Payroll Department on a Part Time (3 days) fixed-term contract from July to Mid-October. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail and accuracy, be comfortable working with repetitive manual processes, and possess the ability to manage high-volume administrative tasks. You will have excellent time management skills, particularly when working to strict payroll deadlines, be confident managing shared inboxes and prioritising requests, and be a reliable, consistent team member who can follow established processes closely.

Key Responsibilities

Onboarding Support

• Process new starter onboarding through manual system updates (copying and pasting data into required templates/systems)
• Ensure all employee details are accurately recorded and compliant with internal procedures

Employee Lifecycle Administration

• Manage and process employee changes including:
• • Changes to working hours (e.g. permanent hour adjustments)
  Employment type updates (e.g. part-time
  • full-time transitions)
  • Fixed-term contract extensions or changes
• Maintain accuracy and consistency across all system updates

Payroll Inbox Management

• Monitor and manage the payroll inbox, responding to queries and actioning requests in a timely manner
• Ensure clear communication and follow-up on payroll-related items

Payroll Processing Support

• Provide hands-on support on payroll processing days
• Assist with manual processing tasks such as part-time check calculations (time-intensive, detail-critical work)
• Support the team to meet strict payroll deadlines
