Jewellery Sales jobs in Sydney NSW

We are looking for a personable Jewellery Sales Assistant. You will be front facing, interacting with customers, organising custom design jobs and repairs, working closely with the customers and the jewellery trades people, communicating with walk-in and online customers, organising appointments, participating in content creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Maintain customer relationships, work closely with the customers on their repairs and custom jobs. English proficiency, attention to detail, maintain a professional attitude and attire.
• Sales: Guide customers.
• Product Knowledge: Informing and educating customers about jewellery types including gemstone and precious metal.
• Store Presentation: Daily maintenance such as vacuuming, cleaning glass, organising cupboards and displays.
• Inventory & Stock: Daily stock take and record keeping.
• Transactions & Record keeping: Process sales, returns, and special orders accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Clienteling: Build and maintain your own client book, proactively engaging repeat customers about new collections.
• Compliance: Adhere strictly to store security protocols, inventory tracking, and point- of-sale operational procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in retail sales, preferably within jewellery.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and active-listening skills.
• Passion for jewellery styling and knowledge of the latest industry trends.
• Math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
• English proficiency.
• Professional attitude and pride in their presentation and attire.
• High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism.
• Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and peak holiday seasons.

Pay: $400.00 – $800.00 per week
