Full job description

The Opportunity – Help build places people love to live.
This is an exciting opportunity to join two key Land Lease community developments as they transition into the broader development and community building phase. If you're motivated, energetic and looking to accelerate your career in property development, this role offers exposure across the full development lifecycle and the opportunity to build the foundations for a future Development Manager career.

We're Looking For
An Assistant Development Manager who brings energy, drive and initiative to everything they do. You'll be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys taking ownership and is always looking for ways to add value beyond your core responsibilities.

What You’ll Do
  • Support the delivery of two active Land Lease developments as they move into their next phase of growth and community creation.
  • Work closely with the Development team, contributing across a broad range of development activities and project milestones.
  • Gain exposure to land lease communities, housing construction, community infrastructure and clubhouse development.
  • Assist in the coordination of consultants, contractors and stakeholders to support successful project outcomes.
  • This permanent role sits within our Development team and plays an important part in helping create thriving communities where people can live, connect and belong.

About You
You're looking for more than just a coordination role. You're motivated by the opportunity to build a broad development skill set, work alongside experienced industry professionals and gain exposure to every stage of the project lifecycle. You enjoy being challenged, taking initiative and making a meaningful contribution to project success.

Experience & Skills That Count
  • Experience in property development, project coordination, construction, engineering or a related field.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Commercial awareness and an interest in end to end project delivery.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Property, Construction Management, Engineering, Planning or a related discipline.

The Right Mindset
  • Energetic, proactive and driven, with a willingness to take ownership and seek opportunities to add value.
  • A hands on team player who is happy to roll up their sleeves and support the broader team when needed.
  • Curious and motivated to learn, develop and build a long term career in property development.
