Title: Full-Stack Developer

About us

Motoryachts Australasia is a luxury motor yacht dealership and brokerage based at Rous Head, North Fremantle — the official Western Australian dealer for Sunseeker and Saxdor and partners with DCH Marine. Our sales, service, brokerage and administration teams run on software built in-house, and that platform has become the operational backbone of the business.

The role

You will be our developer — owning, extending and operating the systems the company runs on every day:

  • Design, build and maintain our internal operations platform (Node.js / SQLite): job cards and scheduling, parts and stock control, quoting and invoicing, warranty claims, subcontractor cost tracking, brokerage records and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain our customer-facing website, including brand and vessel model pages and shared front-end libraries.
  • Build and support integrations with Xero, Microsoft 365 (Graph API), manufacturer dealer portals and supplier/listing services.
  • Own deployment, backups, monitoring, security (2FA, role-based access control) and the automated test suite.
  • Work directly with the Director and every part of the business to turn operational needs into working software.

About you

  • Degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 1–2 years’ professional software development experience.
  • Strong JavaScript and Node.js; solid SQL and relational database design.
  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
  • Comfortable with Linux server administration, Git and deployment automation.
  • Able to work autonomously as the sole developer in a small, hands-on business, and to communicate clearly with non-technical colleagues.
