Job Description :

We're looking for a Junior IT Support Analyst to join our Shared Services team at Havas Australia.

About The Role

The Junior IT Support Analyst is a great role for someone who has completed some studies in IT and has approximately one year of experience in an IT helpdesk role. Ideally, we are looking for someone who is knowledge in both Mac and Windows environments and has some experience in Active Directory. We will train you up in everything you need to know to be successful in this hands-on and varied role.

You will be part of a friendly and experienced team responsible for the support and maintenance of the IT infrastructure across several offices in Australia. We work closely with vendors such as Dell, Apple, VM Ware and Cisco, amongst others. Your role will involve support for staff located in our Sydney office, as well as remote support for our Brisbane, Melbourne and New Zealand offices.


A genuine passion for Information Technology is a must. Excellent communications skills are also necessary. Experience in a customer service role would be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Problem resolution for software and hardware issues.

  • Managing all support requests through to resolution.

  • Maintaining documentation.

  • Ensure compliance to all IT support procedures.

  • Maintaining appropriate user access to application software.

  • Perform user account administration.

  • PC / Mac operating system builds.

  • Training with in house workflow system.

  • Ensuring all boardrooms are switched on and working every day.

  • Training new starters in email platform, workflow system and server access.

  • Registering new users and basic in house training on internal systems (Havas specific training only, not application training)

What You Bring

  • A genuine passion for Information Technology is a must.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Experience in a customer service role would be highly regarded

  • Good analytical and problem solving skills

  • Ability to build and maintain good relationships, both with clients and within the agency

  • Self motivated, team player, flexible, tolerant, enthusiastic and fun

Technical

  • Basic to good understanding of all products to be supported. Apple, Windows, Server, network administration and troubleshooting skills
