Our Story

PropertyMe is Australia's leading cloud-based property management platform, trusted by thousands of real estate agencies across the country.

Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Sydney, we build software that helps property managers streamline rent management, maintenance, inspections, trust accounting, and more — all in one place.

We are looking for a motivated Junior IT Administrator to join our IT team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their IT career who wants broad, hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-growing SaaS company.
Reporting to the IT Manager in a small team of two, the Junior IT Administrator will be the first point of contact for internal IT support across the business. You will be based onsite in our Sydney office Monday to Friday and will be supporting our team Australia wide, in person and remotely.

Responsibilities
  • First point of contact for IT support requests
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues across a mixed fleet of Windows and Mac devices, monitors, docks, mobile devices and accessories
  • Liaise with software providers and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
  • Administer user accounts and manage devices in our directory / MDM platform (JumpCloud)
  • Assist with the configuration and maintenance of network infrastructure, including network switches, wireless access points and routers
  • Support our SaaS stack including Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Slack, Zoom, Salesforce and similar
  • Support our team in the use of AI tools
  • AV support in meeting rooms and studio setup, including Zoom Rooms, iPhones, microphones, sound mixers and lighting
  • Assist with the day-to-day operations of our cyber security suite (CrowdStrike and Cloudflare) and assist with routine security tasks including software updates and audit log reviews
  • Maintain and update the asset register
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding of staff, setup of new hardware, disposal of end-of-life hardware, and provisioning and deprovisioning of software licences
  • Assist with office moves, desk setups and IT projects
  • Ensure documentation is created, maintained and kept up to date

What you bring
Essential
  • 1–2 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role, or a relevant IT qualification
  • Ability to work unsupervised and manage multiple tasks and conflicting priorities
  • Strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff
  • Solid understanding of macOS and Windows desktop environments
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve common hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Experience supporting productivity suites like Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace
  • Experience with MDM platforms like JumpCloud, Jamf, Intune or similar
  • Experience supporting and using communication tools like Slack, Zoom or similar
  • Experience providing AV / meeting room support to staff, with exposure to platforms like Zoom Rooms or Microsoft Teams Rooms
  • Exposure to cybersecurity tools like CrowdStrike, Cloudflare, Microsoft Defender or similar.
  • Experience with onboarding and offboarding staff
Desirable
  • Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN).
  • Exposure to IT projects and/or new product rollouts
  • Interest in cybersecurity and AI
  • Experience or exposure to office moves and desk setups

The benefits and perks
  • Job security working for one of Australia's leading PropTech companies
  • Your whole team will be with you in one location (Sydney)
  • Free onsite snacks, breakfast, and lunch
  • Beautiful office in Sydney CBD with great views of Darling Harbour
  • Regular milestone parties and events
