What you’ll do:
As a summer analyst, your key tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Developing and maintaining complex financial models
Performing various financial analyses, including valuations and merger consequences
Conducting comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research
Preparation of presentation and other materials for clients
Participation in due diligence sessions, communications and interaction with deal team members
Management of several projects at once and work effectively as an individual and as part of a team. Work on projects alongside bankers in specific industry, product and country coverage groups, providing you with a unique learning opportunity
Help the team deliver solutions to clients leveraging full spectrum of the bank's capabilities
Develop and leverage upon a truly global network - learn from, and work with, teams consisting of professionals drawn from across the business, including senior bankers within your group, experts in other areas of the firm and colleagues from around the globe
Build relationships, knowledge and experience that will open doors to a wide range of future career options and opportunities
Our Summer Analyst program is designed to offer you a broad and exciting experience of work as a full time Investment Banking Analyst. During the summer you will be placed within one of our industry, country or product coverage teams. Your training and development is our top priority with extensive formal training offered at the start of the program in addition to on the job support, educational speaker events and mentorship throughout.
Unique to Bank of America is our provision of a Chief Resource Officer (CRO). The CRO’s sole purpose is to manage and optimize the junior banker experience on a very hands-on manner. The
CRO partners closely with senior leadership to instill the firm’s culture, to ensure work/life balance and to provide a well-rounded, fun and value-add experience for junior bankers.
In some countries, Summer Analysts are placed in a generalist team which means a 'staffer' will staff you on projects in specific industry, product and country coverage groups. In others, Summer Analysts are placed directly with a specific team throughout the internship. Team placement is determined by considering business needs and the interests/skills of the Summer Analyst.
