As a Junior Data Scientist supporting our Customer Experience Team, you will partner with leaders to uncover opportunities that support data-driven decision-making. As part of the Analytics Centre of Excellence (CoE), you’ll guide stakeholders with insights to shape priorities and ensure smarter decision making across the business.

This is a great opportunity for an early career Data Scientist or Analytics professional looking to further develop their technical expertise while gaining exposure to operational stakeholders and solving real-world problems.

Some of the role responsibilities:

Work closely with business leaders to understand challenges and translate them into analytical solutions
Analyse large, complex datasets to identify trends, root causes, and actionable insights that directly influence business outcomes.
Apply advanced statistical and machine-learning techniques to improve forecasting accuracy and resource allocation
Build intuitive dashboards and visualisations through bespoke analysis to assist in efficient decision making

Some of the skills required:

Tertiary qualification in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or another quantitative discipline or equivalent demonstratable work experience
Experience with modelling languages such as python or R
Experience in SQL for large-scale data extraction and transformation.
Strong written and verbal communication
Additionally, not essential but is desired
Ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholder groups
Power BI capability (DAX, Power Query, Power Pivot)
