Opportunity Overview:

We’re looking for tech-savvy, hands-on technicians to join our growing team in Melbourne and Sydney. This is a casual role with real potential to transition into a permanent position for the right person.

You’ll work across warehouse operations and onsite installations, supporting major corporate clients, large-scale events, and hospitality venues. While Square POS is a key platform, you’ll also gain exposure to a range of enterprise-level systems and technologies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and test POS systems and related hardware (Square and other platforms)
  • Support corporate events, hospitality venues, and business clients
  • Troubleshoot technical issues onsite under time pressure
  • Assist with warehouse duties (equipment prep, testing, packing, returns)
  • Provide basic client guidance and handover training
  • Travel to onsite jobs across metro areas (and occasional regional work)
  • Work independently while following clear SOPs and job briefs

Job Requirements

  • Tech-confident with a proactive, can-do attitude
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable in a client-facing environment (clear, professional communication)
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Based in Melbourne or Sydney
  • Full driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Available for flexible hours (including early starts, weekends or event-based work)

Bonus Points (Nice to Have, Not Essential)

  • Experience with POS / EPOS systems (Square, etc.)
  • Basic networking knowledge (Wi-Fi, routers, printers)
  • Comfortable using basic power tools (mounting hardware, cable runs)
  • Previous event, AV, IT support, or hospitality tech experience
