Key Support Worker jobs

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support to clients in their homes and/or community settings. The successful candidate will assist individuals to maintain their independence, achieve their goals, and participate in daily activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting as required.
• Assist clients with daily living activities, meal preparation, and household tasks.
• Support clients to attend appointments, social activities, and community outings.
• Follow individual support plans and document client progress accurately.
• Promote client independence, dignity, choice, and wellbeing.
• Administer or assist with medications (if qualified and authorized).
• Maintain professional relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Report incidents, concerns, or changes in client wellbeing promptly.

Requirements

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in disability support, aged care, or community services (preferred).
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• National Police Check and Working With Children Check .
• Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
