Key Responsibilities

Duties include:

  • regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
  • receiving stock
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen is in alignment with Food Safety requirements and general hygiene practices
  • Preparation, replenishment & rotation of stock in the kitchen
  • Tasks incidental to and assisting with ordering stock in accordance with par levels and the needs of the store
  • Some incidental duties of lower-level kitchen classification, including dishes.

Job Duties:

  • Prepare and season food as directed
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Clean and organise kitchen and equipment in adherence to hygiene and safety regulations
  • Preserve and store foodstuffs in appropriate temperature-controlled facilities

Pay: $33.05 – $39.66 per hour
