About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand / Dishwasher to join our team at Armani Restaurant.

This role is essential to keeping our kitchen running smoothly and maintaining high cleanliness and hygiene standards during service. We are seeking someone who works well in a fast paced environment, takes initiative, and is happy to support the kitchen team wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Washing dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans
  • Operating and maintaining dishwasher equipment
  • Keeping kitchen and dishwashing areas clean and organised
  • Assisting with basic food preparation when required
  • Removing rubbish and maintaining cleanliness throughout service
  • Restocking cleaning supplies and kitchen items
  • Supporting chefs and front of house staff as needed
  • Following food safety and workplace hygiene standards
  • Assisting with closing and end of shift cleaning duties

Skills & Requirements

  • Previous kitchen hand or dishwashing experience preferred but not essential
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently
  • Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting when required
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
