Kitchen Hand / Pizza Maker / Dough Prep

Proper Pizza Cafe & Bar – Jindalee QLD

Proper Pizza Cafe & Bar is looking for motivated and reliable kitchen staff to join our growing team in Jindalee.

We are currently hiring for at least 2 positions, with opportunities ranging from casual shifts through to full-time employment for the right candidates.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and wants to learn all aspects of pizza preparation and service.

About the Role

Duties may include:

  • Dough preparation and dough balling
  • General food preparation
  • Pizza making and oven work
  • Kitchen cleaning and dishwashing
  • Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
  • Assisting the kitchen team during busy service periods

What We’re Looking For

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Previous kitchen or pizza experience is helpful but not essential — training can be provided
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends
