Are you passionate about marketing and ready to make an impact in a fast-paced retail environment? We’re looking for a Retail Media Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team on a 12 month fixed-term contract to help drive incremental growth for Kmart Retail Media and Kmart Licence brands.

What you’ll be doing

As a Retail Media Marketing Assistant, you will:

• Execute and coordinate marketing activities across digital, retail, and other channels, with a strong focus on retail media platforms.
• Support the Senior Retail Media Specialist in delivering supplier marketing plans that increase sales, transactions, and category participation.
• Collaborate with internal teams (creative, studio, media, merchandise) and external suppliers to ensure campaigns are aligned with business goals.
• Track campaign performance, analyse data, and provide actionable insights to improve future strategies.
• Manage campaign briefs, imagery, and supplier communications using tools like Monday.com and Dropbox.
Assist in unlocking increased revenue opportunities through emerging partnerships with Kmart 1:1, loyalty teams, and Beauty & Apparel suppliers.

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive and inquisitive mindset with a high drive for achievement.
• Basic understanding of marketing principles and campaign execution.
• High proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills.
• Experience in written communication (briefs, reports) and working in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues, influence others, and negotiate effectively.
• A collaborative spirit and willingness to contribute beyond your role.
• Awareness of how your actions impact others and openness to feedback.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with workplace standards.
