Full job description

Marketing & Social Media Coordinator | ** Kindly read the whole description before applying, this is a creative role, if you are only submitting a blank written/wordy resume, will shows us you are lack of creative! At least, include your social, porfolio, past projects, etc. Show us your talent!**

We are a fast casual Mexican × Korean fusion restaurant based in Glebe, 2037, with a strong local following and an established presence in the hospitality industry over the years.

As social media continues to shape how customers discover and choose where to dine, we are now seeking an in house Marketing Coordinator to lead our content presence.

This role is on site during service hours, capturing real time moments from prep through to service and post service, and turning them into engaging stories that reflect the energy of our venue and keep our brand relevant across social platforms.

We are looking for a creative, self-driven content creator who understands how to turn attention into action and already has experience producing content for social media. This is also well suited to a creative professional or freelancer with flexible availability, particularly afternoons and evenings (4pm–9pm on weekdays and weekend ), who can work on-site to capture authentic in store contents.

About the Role

You will be required to be in-store during service hours, including before, during, and after service, depending on the weekly content schedule.

The reason we are looking for an in-house role rather than an external marketing agency is simple that we want to produce more authentic, real time content that reflects what is actually happening in our venue during service.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Filming short-form video content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other social media platforms
  • Capturing high-quality product, story, and in-store photography
  • Creating and editing Reels, Stories, and social media posts
  • Capturing new product launches, promotions, and behind-the-scenes content
  • Assisting with content planning and overall social media management
  • Meeting weekly KPIs for posts, Reels, and campaigns
  • Monitoring social media trends and suggesting creative campaign ideas
  • Working closely with the restaurant team to create engaging and authentic content
  • Assisting with influencer collaborations and community marketing activities

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience creating content for social media
  • Actively manages their own social media account, channel, or portfolio
  • Understands Instagram, TikTok, and current social media trends
  • Has strong photography and videography skills
  • Is confident filming, directing, and editing content
  • Has experience using tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
  • Has a creative eye and strong attention to detail
  • Can work independently and bring fresh ideas to the team
  • Is reliable, organised, and able to take initiative on their own tasks

Equipment Requirements

Applicants must have access to their own content creation equipment, including:

  • Smartphone and/or camera capable of producing high-quality content
  • Editing software and tools required for content creation
