What are we looking for?
Our Abuse team is growing, and we are now seeking a Law Clerk to join our team. This is a Full Time, permanent role and flexible work arrangements will be considered. We are open to this position being located from any of our offices Nationally. Your energy and drive will be integral in achieving successful outcomes along with your positive approach to your work. In this role you will assist the team in managing and progressing Abuse Law matters, as you review reports and files and prepare draft legal correspondence.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
- Review, analyse and summarise documentation
- Preparing legal correspondence, court documents and briefs when required
- Ensuring compliance with relevant rules and regulations
- Working closely with the legal teams to advance legal matters for clients.

You will have a passion for social justice and generating positive outcomes for clients. The following experience and skills will ensure your success in this position:
- A keen interest in personal injury law
- Exposure to a plaintiff personal injury practice (highly desirable)
- A natural passion for helping people and high level of empathy
- Exceptional experience in communication and customer service
- Excellent written and drafting skills
- Recognise the importance of attention to detail and time management
- Demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
- A willingness to learn
- Proactive approach and initiative
- Available to work 38 hours per week, between the hours of 8:30am – 5pm Monday to Friday.
