About the role
Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, the Learning & Development Coordinator will support the delivery of learning and development initiatives across The Commons.
Working closely with department leaders across our workspace, hospitality and health club businesses, you'll help bring learning programs to life through engaging workshops, online learning modules, training resources and onboarding experiences.
This role combines facilitation, content creation and learning administration. You'll coordinate training projects, create digital learning content, track learning completion and compliance, identify gaps in learning uptake, and support the ongoing development of our teams.
We're looking for someone who is comfortable presenting in front of groups, enjoys creating engaging learning experiences and has a genuine passion for helping people learn and grow.
What you'll do
Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you'll support the coordination, creation and delivery of learning and development initiatives across The Commons.
You will:
- Coordinate learning projects across our Community, Hospitality, Health Club and Support teams
- Create, format and maintain digital learning content using Chameleon Creator and Rippling LMS
- Develop learning resources including presentations, guides, videos, facilitator notes and supporting materials
- Film and edit learning content for online learning modules and training programs
- Support the facilitation of onboarding programs, workshops and learning sessions
- Track learning completion, compliance and engagement across the business
- Identify gaps in learning participation and support follow-up actions with leaders
- Coordinate learning calendars, communications, scheduling and training logistics
- Maintain organised content libraries, learning records and reporting dashboards
- Partner with subject matter experts and department leaders to translate operational knowledge into engaging learning experiences
- Support the rollout of new initiatives, systems and operational processes through effective learning solutions
You'll bring
You're organised, creative and confident engaging with people at all levels of the business. You enjoy making information easy to understand and creating learning experiences that people genuinely want to participate in.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- Experience in learning and development, training coordination, education support, operations coordination or a similar role
- Experience in hospitality, customer service, retail, fitness, coworking or other service-focused environments highly regarded
- Confidence facilitating workshops, presenting to groups and engaging diverse audiences
- Strong written communication skills with an eye for detail and presentation
- Experience creating learning resources, presentations or digital learning content
- Confidence using learning platforms, content creation tools and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
- A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused mindset
- Experience with Rippling LMS, Chameleon Creator, Canva or similar platforms is highly regarded
