About Us

We are a dedicated disability support service provider committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care to people living with disability. Our team supports participants to live independently, achieve their goals, and actively participate in their communities. We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Disability Support Worker to join our growing team.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide personalised support to participants in accordance with their individual care plans, promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred care and support to participants in accordance with individual support plans.
  • Assist participants with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and personal hygiene.
  • Support participants with mobility, transfers and the use of mobility aids where required.
  • Assist with meal preparation, feeding and other daily living activities.
  • Provide domestic assistance, including light household cleaning, laundry and maintaining a safe living environment.
  • Support participants to access community activities, appointments and social programs to promote independence and inclusion.
  • Observe, monitor and report changes in participants' health, wellbeing or behaviour to supervisors and relevant healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate care records, progress notes and incident reports in accordance with organisational policies.
  • Work collaboratively with participants, families and multidisciplinary professionals to deliver high-quality support.
  • Comply with NDIS Practice Standards, workplace health and safety requirements, and organisational policies.

Skills and Experience

  • Relevant certificate in Disability, Individual Support, Aged Care or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with people with disability is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient and professional approach to supporting participants.
  • Valid Driver Licence and reliable transport.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (where required).
