Gledswood Hills Public School, is a large and rapidly growing school, housed in state-ofthe-art facility located in South Western Sydney. It is part of the Macarthur Network of Schools for the Department of Education. 1006 students are enrolled at Gledswood Hills Public School, where students from a Language Background Other Than English (LBOTE) make up 51% of the school population and 3% of students identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander. Continual monitoring of student performance data determines areas of need and success at class and school level. The school has a strong focus on high quality teaching and learning. 1. Approval to teach students with learning and support needs (primary) with the capacity to provide learning and support adjustments in the classroom.

2. Demonstrated expertise in assessment, differentiation and data-informed practice, with the ability to collaborate with teachers to analyse data and design, implement and evaluate personalised learning and support plans, and teaching and learning adjustments.

3. Demonstrated capacity to provide specialist assistance to students with the willingness to work with teaching staff to build capacity to deliver high quality differentiated practices.

4. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to positively contribute to the school culture by working collaboratively with staff members, students, families and external agencies.

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
