About ACC Moreton

Requirements
About the role
We are seeking applications from a qualified Middle School (Y7-9) Learning Support Teacher who is enthusiastic, has excellent interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to Christian schooling and able to teach from a biblical worldview. Successful candidates will join a highly competent and supportive distance education teaching team.
The role provides specialist support for students with diverse learning needs, working collaboratively with teachers, families, and external professionals to ensure every student can access and engage successfully with their learning program.
The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting students with learning difficulties, disabilities, neurodiverse learning profiles, and additional educational needs within an online learning environment.
This full-time position will be based at ACC Moreton campus and engages with students from around the state who are enrolled in our Distance Education program.
The role will commence 20 July 2026.

- Hold relevant teaching qualifications and Queensland teacher registration (or eligibility to obtain registration).
- Have experience supporting students with diverse learning needs.
- Possess a strong understanding of inclusive education practices and differentiation.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Be highly organised and capable of working effectively in a remote environment.
- Be confident using technology and online learning platforms.
- Have a heart for partnering with families to support student learning and wellbeing.
