About Us

Al Aseel is the home of Lebanese food and dining in Australia. With 9 vibrant locations across Sydney, we are known for delivering authentic Lebanese cuisine rooted in tradition, hospitality and community. We take pride in our rich, flavour-packed menu, from hand-crafted mezza and grilled favourites to traditional mains that bring people together through the warmth of Lebanese hospitality.

Position Overview

As a KItchen Hand/Cook at Al Aseel, you’ll work in a fast-paced professional kitchen preparing authentic Middle Eastern dishes to the highest standards. You’ll play a key role in daily service, ensuring consistency, quality, and cleanliness across all kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to Al Aseel recipes and presentation standards.
  • Work across different stations (grill, cold, hot, prep) as required.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness, food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Assist with inventory, stock rotation and food preparation tasks.
  • Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to deliver excellent guest experiences.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a busy kitchen preferred
  • Passion for food and willingness to learn new techniques
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable and flexible, with the ability to work across multiple locations if required
  • Food Safety Certificate
