About the role

This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing IT team in a hybrid role combining Level 1 & 2 Desktop Support with Junior Network Engineering.

You'll provide onsite support to more than 350 users while working alongside experienced Network Engineers, gaining hands-on exposure to enterprise network infrastructure, troubleshooting and infrastructure projects. It's an ideal role for someone looking to transition from Desktop Support into Networking.

Your key responsibilities will be:
  • Provide Level 1 & 2 desktop support for 350+ users.
  • Deliver support onsite, over the phone and remotely.
  • Manage user accounts, onboarding and system access.
  • Troubleshoot Windows 10, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Exchange, Teams, iPhones and end-user devices.
  • Assist with SOE deployments, rollouts and IT projects.
  • Support enterprise network infrastructure, including switches, wireless networks and connectivity.
  • Assist with network monitoring, incident investigation and troubleshooting.
  • Work alongside senior Network Engineers on upgrades, deployments and infrastructure improvements.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset and network documentation.

What you'll bring
  • 2-3+ years' experience in Desktop Support or IT Support.
  • Strong Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory support experience.
  • A solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN, routing and switching.
  • Exposure to Fortinet, Juniper or Cisco networking equipment is highly regarded.
  • A genuine passion for networking and infrastructure.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to investigate and resolve issues independently.
  • Current driver's licence is advantageous.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as ITIL, MSA, MCSE or CCNA.
