  • Full time, Fixed term contracts until 31st December 2028
  • Develop and deliver quality client-centred Library services for academics, higher degree by research students and other relevant areas of the University
  • Base Salary $103,185 + 17% superannuation

About the opportunity

The Research Services Librarian will support the continuous improvement and delivery of Library services for researchers related to scholarly communication, bibliometrics, open access, and access and use of university-created digital research content, including research theses, open access publications, non-traditional research outputs and data.

About you

  • previous experience and knowledge around university operations, research and scholarly publishing
  • a proactive approach to working with internal and external stakeholders to build effective working relationships as a strong collaborator
  • ability to effectively translate complex process requirements to researchers, HDR students and colleagues
  • excellent problem-solving skills, professional judgement and the ability to effectively work on team and independent projects
  • knowledge of the contemporary higher education and research landscape
  • ability to balance competing agendas and demands in a complex environment
