Floor & Bar Staff

Casa Luna | Byron Bay, NSW

Casa Luna is looking for an experienced and hands-onBar and Floor Staff to lead our bar operation.

Casa Luna is a modern Australian and Mediterranean restaurant, cocktail bar and late-night venue in the heart of Byron Bay. We offer a strong food and beverage program, live music, DJs, events and a fast-paced weekend trade.

These role(s) would suit someone who is confident leading a team, maintaining high standards and taking ownership of the financial and operational performance of the bar.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, professional and attentive service
  • Deliver strong food, cocktail and beverage knowledge
  • Take orders accurately and confidently using the POS
  • Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer and other beverages
  • Maintain a clean, organised and service-ready floor and bar
  • Work across restaurant, cocktail bar, Hi-Fi lounge and event services
  • Handle busy dinner and late-night services confidently
  • Assist with functions, private events and venue activations
  • Follow RSA, licensing, food safety and workplace procedures
  • Work closely with the bar, floor and kitchen teams
  • Help with opening, closing, restocking and general venue duties
  • Contribute to a positive, reliable and professional team culture

About You

  • Previous experience in floor service or bar service in high standard venues
  • Strong cocktail, spirits, wine and beverage knowledge
  • Confident managing high-volume services
  • Experience with stock control, ordering and cost management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Reliable, organised and comfortable taking responsibility
  • Available to work evenings and weekends
  • Current NSW RSA
  • Experience with Square, Restoke or similar systems is beneficial
