Permanent Part Time Opportunity – 17.5 hours per week
$111,798 - $132,585 package includes salary ($98,499 - $116,813 pro-rata), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role
We are seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Literacy and Numeracy students!
You will help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. In addition, you will facilitate learning by delivering world-class educational programs, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes. You will have moderate numeracy experience and have experience with digital literacy.
In your next role, you will:
- Teach students face-to-face in classrooms
- Issue, mark and provide comprehensive feedback on assessments
- Undertake student administration, including marking registers and recording results
- Maintain relationships with local industry professionals and employers
Share your skills and passion for your industry, build the skills, qualifications, and employability, and support the career goals of our students.
About You
To be successful in this role you must meet the below essential requirements:
1. Hold one of the below qualifications:
- A recognised*Bachelor degree (AQF 7) in education, with an LLND focus OR
- A recognised* postgraduate qualification (AQF 8 or higher) in LLND OR
- A Qualification at AQF5 (or above) and relevant experience in an LLND area
Note: Successful applicants coming in under #3 must complete Adult Literacy and Numeracy Teaching (ALaNT) + TAELLN skillset (TAESS00026 or predecessor) within 18 months of engagement*. (*ALaNT expected to be available from T2, 2024.) * From an accredited Australian Higher Education Institution, or qualification recognised as equivalent to the stated AQF level or higher by the Australian Government Country Education Profiles (CEPs) tool
2. Minimum of three years post-qualification experience in teaching LLND.
3. Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET). See the candidate support document here for details.
4. Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.

Targeted Question – Provide an example of your experience delivering Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) training to adult learners who presented with challenging behaviours or significant barriers to learning. Describe how you identified their individual learning needs, adapted your teaching strategies, and supported them to achieve positive educational outcomes.
