About the role
We are seeking a capable and adaptable Specialist – Distribution to join our distribution team working Mondays – Fridays in our beautiful office in Perth.
You will work across distribution administration, scheduling support and specialist activities, helping the team deliver reliable and effective services across its operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership and can confidently move between operational priorities.
You will also have the opportunity to broaden your leadership capability by supporting the Distribution Lead as required, while gaining exposure to key distribution activities and building strong stakeholder relationships across the business.
What you will be doing
Support day-to-day transport planning, carrier coordination and freight movements to help ensure products are delivered safely, efficiently and on time;
Monitor stock levels, coordinate transfers and maintain accurate inventory records to support reliable supply across distribution sites;
Build strong working relationships with transport providers, internal teams and key stakeholders to resolve operational issues and improve service performance;
Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Distribution teams to help plan product movements and align supply with customer demand;
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service and reporting while ensuring distribution activities, systems and inventory processes meet operational and compliance requirements;
Step in to support the Distribution Lead during periods of leave or absence, helping maintain smooth operations, customer service and stakeholder engagement.
What you will bring
A qualification in logistics, supply chain or business may be advantageous, although candidates with equivalent relevant experience are encouraged to apply;
Relevant experience in scheduling, transportation, distribution, logistics or a related operational environment;
Approximately two or more years of relevant experience would be advantageous;
Strong Excel and spreadsheet capability;
SAP experience is preferred but not essential.
