About Us
Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.
Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the ‘Courts Group'.

The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The MCV determines in excess of 200,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, dealing with over 90 percent of all adult cases that come before Victorian courts each year.
MCV aims to be an innovative, accessible and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.
About the Role
The Court Operations Officer role sits within the Specialist Family Violence Court registry at the Melbourne Magistrates' Court reporting to the Manager of the Family Law and Intervention Order Registry.
The role supports the functions of the Family Violence Registry with reporting, developing, reviewing and managing processes, drafting and preparing briefings and correspondence and ensuring compliance with legislative and organisational standards and other duties as required.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent communication skills with an ability to work closely and effectively with a variety of stakeholders including Judiciary, legal services, support services, court users and SFVC team members.
You will have strong administrative skills and experience particularly in managing processes and a focus on continuous improvement along with excellent written skills and attention to detail.
This role is part of a busy team within the court, managing a high volume of challenging matters. The successful applicant will be able to work efficiently within a busy environment.
