Factory Hand | Casual Position – Dandenong, Melbourne

Australian Residents Only | Must Live Locally

Awnet has been Australia’s trusted manufacturer of premium market umbrellas and café barriers for over 40 years. Our products help cafés, restaurants, and major brands across the country showcase their identity with quality and style.

We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Factory Hand to join our small, friendly team in Dandenong.

This is a hands-on, active role with a variety of tasks – perfect if you enjoy staying busy and taking pride in your work.

No previous factory experience? No problem – we provide full training.
Prior experience is a bonus, but attitude and reliability matter most.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assemble umbrellas and barriers using hand tools, drills, and staple guns
  • Perform quality checks to maintain our high standards
  • Pack and prepare finished products for delivery
  • Assist with occasional on-site or off-site installations
  • Move between tasks as production needs change

What We’re Looking For:

  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 15kg
  • Reliable and able to work independently while staying organised
  • Good communication skills (read, write and speak English)
  • Valid Australian driver’s licence and your own reliable transport (Dandenong location)
  • A positive team-player attitude

Advantageous (but not essential):

  • Experience with power tools or staple guns
  • Experience driving a 4-tonne flatbed truck (standard car licence is sufficient)

Hours & Conditions: Casual position with flexible hours based on workload.
Factory hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm.
