About the role

This is a full-time diving position and a great opportunity for someone looking for a unique and challenging role. Reporting directly to the Skippers of our vessel's, you will be out to sea for up to 28 days at a time diving to collect aquarium coral and fish. You will also be assisting with husbandry of livestock at sea and unloading product in port. Assisting in fish, invertebrates and coral livestock husbandry and best practice handling of these products on board vessels and during unloading is essential. In addition, you will be helping the Skipper as required to maintain and prepare the vessel for upcoming trips. You will need to be physically fit and a good team player. Our team takes great pride in their work and strives to be the best.

Skills and experience

Essential Criteria

Willingness to spend over 200 days at sea per year on trips running up to 28 days at a time

Perform Diver Rescue or Dive Master qualification

Extensive experience in collecting fish for the aquarium industry

Commercial experience diving on hooker

Current dive medical

Current first aid and O2 delivery

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
