Your Role

  • Deliver personalised 1.5-hour tutoring and mentoring sessions in students' homes.
  • Tutor English and Maths (Primary) plus your stronger subjects (Secondary).
  • Build students' self-belief and learning strategies using our STAR framework.
  • Provide progress updates to families.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in, recently completed, or planning to commence a university degree
  • Completed Australian Year 12
  • Confident in tutoring English & Maths (Primary) and strong subjects (Secondary)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Own vehicle and valid driver's licence
  • Available to tutor a minimum of 5 x 1.5-hour sessions per week
  • Note: Primary-only tutors are not considered
  • Working with Children Check must be obtained within 30 days of commencement
  • Capable of teaching Maths and/or English up to Year 12 level

School Program Opportunities

Selected APTs may:

  • Deliver curriculum-aligned group lessons.
  • Support students academically and emotionally in the school setting.
  • Receive specialised onboarding and direct support from a School Program Convenor.
