Work Type: Permanent – Full Time

Due to ongoing business growth and increasing operational requirements, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineering HVAC Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. This role will support the planning, implementation, maintenance, testing, and improvement of HVAC and mechanical systems and equipment across our operations.

About You

· Proven experience in a Mechanical Engineering HVAC Technician or similar technical role.

· Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.

· Strong understanding of mechanical systems, equipment maintenance, and engineering principles.

· Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.

· Experience in troubleshooting mechanical faults and recommending practical solutions.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

· Excellent communication and organisational skills.

· Commitment to workplace health and safety standards.

· Australian work rights or eligibility to work in Australia.

The Role

As a Mechanical Engineering HVAC Technician, you will assist in the planning, quoting, installation, testing, maintenance, and optimisation of mechanical HVAC equipment and systems. You will work closely with management, engineers, and operational staff to ensure equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Tasks

· Assisting in the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical HVAC equipment and systems.

· Conducting inspections, testing, and diagnostic assessments of machinery and mechanical components.

· Assisting engineers in developing and implementing maintenance schedules and procedures.

· Monitoring equipment performance and identifying opportunities for operational improvements.

· Investigating mechanical faults and equipment failures and recommending corrective actions.

· Preparing technical reports, maintenance records, and operational documentation.

· Interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical manuals.

· Assisting with the selection, procurement, and installation of mechanical components and equipment.

· Ensuring machinery and equipment operate in accordance with engineering specifications and safety standards.

· Supporting quality assurance processes through testing and performance evaluation of mechanical systems.

· Coordinating with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders regarding technical requirements and maintenance activities.

· Assisting in inventory control and management of spare parts, tools, and equipment.

· Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and engineering standards.

· Providing technical support and guidance to operational personnel regarding equipment usage and maintenance.

· Performing other related duties as reasonably required by management in support of engineering and operational activities.
