What's the role?

We are looking for an experienced Mechanic promptly commencing with our well-established Qube team in Prominent Hill! Your skills will be applied to undertaking fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance of company vehicles and machinery safely and efficiently. Experience in a Leading Hand or Supervisor position preferred or have an interest in career progressing down this pathway.

• 8/6 roster working 12 hours shifts 5am – 5pm

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

• Suitable Trade Qualification or Certification with an excellent mechanical aptitude.
• Must have minimum 1 years’ qualified industry experience working on light and heavy machinery.
• Demonstrated working experience with light and heavy vehicles & machinery (Kenworth, Volvo & Mack Prime Movers, side-tippers, bowl tippers, belly dumpers, Cats, Cummins etc.)
• Mining experience an advantage
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Ability to maintain accurate records of work completed.
• Team Leader experience preferred.
