TikTok Script Writer (Casual)

About Us

We are a fast growing TikTok marketing agency that creates viral content for brands across Australia. Our clients range from food brands and local businesses through to national companies looking to grow through short form video.

We're looking for a creative Script Writer to join our team on a casual basis and help develop engaging TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts content.

The Role

Your job is simple: turn ideas into scroll stopping scripts.

You'll work alongside our content team to create scripts that are entertaining, engaging, and designed to perform on social media. We create content across a wide range of industries, so every day is different.

This role would suit someone with a background in:

• Teaching
• Creative writing
• Journalism
• Marketing
• Communications
• Acting or performing arts
• Content creation
• Social media management

Responsibilities

• Write TikTok, Reels, and Shorts scripts
• Develop strong hooks that capture attention in the first few seconds
• Research trends and content ideas
• Adapt scripts to suit different brands and target audiences
• Turn basic ideas into engaging content concepts
• Work with our content creators to refine and improve scripts
• Assist with content planning and creative brainstorming

What We're Looking For

• Strong writing and storytelling skills
• Excellent grammar and attention to detail
• Ability to write in different tones and styles
• Understanding of TikTok and short form content
• Creative thinker who can generate fresh ideas
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Bonus Points If You Have

• Teaching experience
• Experience writing for social media
• Experience creating your own content
• Marketing or advertising experience
• Understanding of viral content and consumer psychology

Hours & Flexibility

• Casual position
• Flexible working hours
• Work remotely
• Additional hours available as we grow

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
