About the role
Are you an experienced graphic designer with a passion for developing corporate and community brands and bringing them to life? Do you enjoy creating engaging and accessible campaigns, assets and content? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
The City of Unley is seeking a Creative Services Officer to join our Communications, Marketing & Engagement team.
This is a hands-on, dynamic role where you’ll combine graphic design expertise with marketing flair to help promote Council brands, projects, services, events, and initiatives across print, digital, and social media channels.
What you will do
- Lead a brand transformation through the development of style guides, templates and assets for corporate, destination and community brands.
- Create high-quality visual communications and persuasive copy across print and digital channels, including flyers, signage, social media graphics, advertisements, corporate publications, and other promotional materials.
- Transform complex information into clear, engaging and visually compelling communications across print and digital channels.
- Ensure all creative outputs align with the City of Unley’s brand identity, style guides, and accessibility standards.
- Develop and maintain templates and design assets to support consistent and efficient content creation across the organisation.
- Deliver relevant graphic design and marketing projects to support organisational goals.
- Coordinate external suppliers, including printers, photographers, and other creative service providers.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Qualifications and/or experience in graphic design, visual communication, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in brand development and execution.
- Demonstrated experience producing high-quality graphic design and visual communication materials across print and digital channels.
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) and Canva.
