Full job description
We're excited to welcome a Administration Officer to our Queensland Virtual Early Medical Termination of Pregnancy Service.
The Administration Officer provides a high level of confidential administrative support for the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service. This position is a prime point of contact for internal communication on a daily basis and externally with various departments and agencies.
The Queensland Virtual Early Medical Termination of Pregnancy Service (QVEMToPS) is a virtual outpatient service that provides care to women and pregnant people who are requesting a medical termination of pregnancy.

Key Responsibilities include:
Exercise judgement when necessary to solve immediate problems in situations where precedents have not been set and procedures not defined.
Effectively communicate with customers and demonstrate understanding, empathy, patience and a positive service focus.
Provide advice and support in the admission and discharge planning process for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients presenting to the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.
Undertake 'cultural assessment/risk screening' to identify patient needs and optimise the patient's recovery / outcomes on discharge from the acute care setting.
Remuneration based pro rata on equivalent full time value up to $104 183 p.a., comprising salary rates: $41.44 - $46.05 p.h. employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO3) (Fixed term temporary part time position, 48 hrs p.f. for 6 months with possibility of extension). Applications will remain current for the duration of the vacancy. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
