Practice & Growth Manager – Psychology

Permanent Part-Time | Initially 1 Day Per Week | Remote – Australia Wide
$50–$60 per hour + super, depending on experience

About The Integration Centre

The Integration Centre is a growing psychology practice providing psychological care exclusively to veterans and first responders.

We are looking for an experienced, organised and proactive person to work directly with the Director/Principal Psychologist.

You will play an integral role in the day-to-day running of the practice, while also focusing on practice growth, clinician recruitment and referral development.

This is a hands-on role and is not a traditional administration-only Practice Manager position.

The Role

Initially working one day per week, you will manage the core administration associated with the Principal Psychologist’s practice, including:

• managing the Principal Psychologist’s diary
• invoicing and billing
• monitoring referrals and client enquiries
• managing outstanding accounts
• maintaining practice-management systems and workflows
• coordinating client and referrer correspondence
• general practice administration

As you will initially be managing the administration and diary of one Principal Psychologist, these responsibilities are not expected to occupy the entire day.

The remaining time will focus on growing the practice, including:

• building relationships with GPs, psychiatrists, allied-health providers and other referral sources
• developing new referral pathways
• contacting prospective referrers and arranging meetings
• maintaining regular follow-up with referral partners
• developing and maintaining a referral database
• professional outreach and networking
• supporting LinkedIn and recruitment campaigns
• identifying and approaching suitable psychologists
• coordinating recruitment, screening and interviews
• onboarding new psychologists
• helping develop referral streams and sustainable caseloads for new clinicians

Our immediate goal over the next 6–12 months is to progressively recruit and successfully integrate new psychologists into the team, while simultaneously growing the referral pipeline required to establish a sustainable caseload for each new clinician as they join the practice.

Who We’re Looking For

This role would suit someone with experience in psychology or allied-health practice administration, healthcare operations, practice growth and/or business development who is comfortable working independently and remotely in a small business environment.

You will be:

• highly organised, reliable and able to work independently
• proactive and able to identify what needs to be done without constant direction
• commercially minded and genuinely interested in growing a psychology practice
• confident contacting referrers and developing professional relationships
• comfortable picking up the phone, arranging meetings and following people up
• experienced with healthcare billing and practice administration
• confident using practice-management software and digital systems
• capable of supporting clinician recruitment and onboarding

Previous experience with psychology practice administration, including Zanda, Medicare, DVA and WorkCover, is essential.

What Success Looks Like

Over the first 6–12 months, success will mean helping us to:

run the practice efficiently, build a consistent referral pipeline, progressively recruit and onboard new psychologists, and ensure referral growth keeps pace so each new clinician can establish a sustainable caseload.

As the practice grows, the role and number of days are expected to increase.
