About the role

A CFC Team Member plays an important role in the flow of products moving through the CFC into a customer’s bag. So, what does it take? A keen eye for detail and the ability to perform tasks efficiently and accurately.

The workstations throughout a CFC vary across ambient, chilled and freezer environments and can include decanting items to go into the hive, to packing a customer’s order into bags.

And underpinning this caring culture is technology unique to this centre, which reduces some of the heavy lifting that may be required in the role.

Responsibilities include:

• Bagging - Putting bags into totes ready to be packed
• Dekit - Managing empty totes to go back into the hive
• Tote Washing - Inspecting and cleaning totes
• Decanting - Removing stock from packaging to go into the hive. Across ambient, chilled and freezer stations
• Picking - Picking and packing customer orders across ambient, chilled and freezer stations
• Frame Loading - Managing frames. This includes loading totes onto frames and moving frames into positions
• Loading - Moving full frames onto delivery van and removing empty frames

About you and your skills

• Available for Afternoon shift
• Demonstrate a focus on safety, customer service and continuous improvement
• Possess a strong eye for detail and accuracy
• Displace strong team skills with a willingness to adapt in fast-paced environments
• Ability to work weekends, public holidays and during our busy peak periods is essential
• You’ll need to be comfortable working on your own and following set instructions
• To be active – you’ll be on your feet for long periods of time and may require some moderate to heavy lifting and reaching
