Medical Admin/Receptionist

Medical clinic located in Tarneit is seeking an extremely motivated and friendly Medical Receptionist. We provides a broad range of medical services to the community ranging from; family medicine and preventative medicine. Our aim to achieve the best possible health outcomes by using our skills, knowledge and expertise and working in partnership with our patients.

We do this by making every effort to provide high-quality benchmark service in all areas of interaction with our clinics.

You will be reporting directly to the directors but will oversee the following:

The right candidate will be friendly, be enthusiastic about delivering results for clients, and be a great communicator within the multidisciplinary team - both in the clinic as well as with external health providers such as GPs and allied Health. You will be responsible for providing high-quality assessment, diagnosis, education and treatment for your clients, with a diverse caseload mix including Private, NDIS, DVA, Medicare, Workcover, private Insurance.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will include:

• Managing patient enquiries (phone, email, in-person);
• Booking and coordinating appointments via HotDoc;
• Scanning and allocating clinical correspondence;
• Processing billings, eftpos and HiCaps;
• Managing debtors and accounts;
• Supporting smooth front desk operations in a busy environment.

Preferred but not essential experience in Best Practice, Health engine, and PRODA
