Casual Drivers Required for Local Pick-up and Deliveries (Perth Metro)

DEPOT LOCATION: Wangara WA

The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-driven Courier driver with a Manual Car Licence on a casual basis to work within food service distribution. You will be required to work weekday, early morning and on call with a rotating roster. This position would ideally suit a university student or someone studying parttime. We can fit the roster around availability.

Responsibilities

• Pick-up and deliver orders to customers in timely manner.
• Perform tasks according to safety procedures.
• Good geographical knowledge of the Perth area is an advantage. The ability to work with a sense of urgency and to deliver excellent customer service is important.

Criteria

• A full Manual Car Licence with good driving record
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Must have own smart phone, with proficient knowledge of use
• Fast learner and ability to work under pressure
• Availability to work outside regular hours - usually 6am starts
• A team player
• Good attention to details
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Well organised and punctual
• Provide or be prepared to undertake a National Police Clearance Certificate.
• Be prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical including a drug test
