About the role

The Courier Driver provides safe and reliable transport of clinical and non-clinical items between Caboolture Hospital and the Caboolture and Bribie Island Satellite Health Centres, supporting the efficient delivery of healthcare services.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

Ability to carry out duties as a team member with minimal supervision and prioritise work to meet deadlines in a changing, quality-focused environment.
Perform delivery and pickup tasks in a polite, resourceful and professional manner.
Load and unload delivery vehicles and ensure all items are secure and delivered to correct recipients.
Operate vehicle to safely transport supplies, trolleys, materials, specimens, medicines, documents, mail and packages.
Ensure documents, medical information and delivery records are completed and entered accurately.
Communicate with the main office via mobile device and follow instructions from hospital or laboratory personnel.
