Day & Night Healthcare is a national healthcare distributor supplying hospitals, aged care facilities and healthcare providers throughout Australia.
We're looking for a casual delivery driver to join our Western Australia branch, located in Welshpool, servicing our growing customer base throughout WA. Immediate start available.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver customer orders throughout metropolitan and regional Western Australia.
- Ensure accurate deliveries and obtain proof of delivery using company mobile applications and devices.
- Provide professional, courteous customer service and represent the company positively at all times.
- Report delivery issues, delays or potential service failures promptly to the Warehouse Manager.
- Maintain company vehicles to a high standard of cleanliness and report any maintenance requirements.
- Comply with all road safety, workplace health and safety (WHS), and company policies and procedures.
- Assist with warehouse operations and administrative tasks as required.
- Use company computer systems and electronic devices to support delivery and operational requirements.
Skills & Requirements
- Current Western Australia Driver License (note standard driver license is fine for our vehicles).
- Current National Police Check (the company will pay for this if a current check is not in possession).
- Ability to use mobile proof of delivery (POD) technology and basic computer systems.
- Good knowledge of metropolitan Perth and regional WA road networks preferred.
- Physically fit and capable of regularly lifting cartons and other goods.
- Current COVID-19 and annual influenza vaccinations (essential for deliveries to our customers in the Healthcare industry).
Further Notes
The hours and scope of this role are flexible. We are open to applicants looking for only a small number of hours per week, right up until approximate 30-40 hours per week. Pay range is exclusive of overtime pay.
