About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
Demonstrated skills and experience in radiography, preferably within the field of mammography.
Build rapport with patients and demonstrate empathy, patience and respect in the delivery of a flexible service that meets patients' needs.
Demonstrates respect, honesty and integrity for others, remaining flexible, fair and willing to compromise when dealing with team members.
Understands and adheres to quality systems and processes and proactively identifies areas for improvement.
Demonstrates direction and vision for self-development, showing initiative in learning and a willingness to share information with others.
Mandatory Requirements:
Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
Possession of a degree in Medical Radiation Technology or equivalent.
Licence to Use Irradiating Apparatus issued by Radiation Health - Queensland.
Possession of / or working towards, a Certificate of Mammographic Practice (CMP) issued by Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (ASMIRT) or equivalent.
