About the Role

We are seeking a part time Medical Imaging Assistant to deliver exceptional patient care while supporting our Radiographers at our Wallaroo clinic. This role is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in medical imaging, develop valuable skills in healthcare, and be part of a collaborative, fast-paced environment where every day is different.

Support & Training

No prior experience? No problem. You will be provided with comprehensive training to set you up for success from day one. This role involves performing cannulation using needles, with regular exposure to blood and body fluids. The role is highly patient-facing and requires strong communication and teamwork within a clinical environment. Enjoy a collaborative environment with full mentorship and ongoing professional development.

About You

• Able to work Tuesday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.
• Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for patient care and empathy.
• Previous experience in customer service; experience in a clinical setting will be highly regarded.
• A proactive mindset with a demonstrated willingness to learn and contribute positively.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities along with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Adaptability and teamwork skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic environment.
• For safety reasons, you must not have any metal implants in your body, due to MRI safety requirements.
