Deliver specialised nursing care across a diverse Medical Imaging service
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team across complex procedures

Provide patient-centred nursing care across CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy and interventional imaging services.
Employment Type: Temporary Part Time (up to 10/1/27)

Remuneration: $41.22 - $57.88 per hour

Location: Blacktown and Mt Druitt Hospitals

What you'll be doing
As a Registered Nurse in Medical Imaging, you will provide safe, high-quality nursing care while supporting patients before, during and after imaging procedures.

Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate individualised patient-centred nursing care
-
Support patients undergoing CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy and interventional procedures

Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including contrast reactions, patient history and incidents
-
Apply radiation safety principles to protect patients, carers and the healthcare team
-
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and escalate clinical concerns appropriately

Essential Criteria

Registration: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA)

Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team and effective demonstration of interpersonal skills in initiating and leading junior members of the team.

Demonstrated ability to ensure patients, carers, and families are well informed, engaged and confident about their care and treatment, within the scope of a Registered Nurse.
