Your new role:
As a Medical Imaging Clinical Assistant, you will play an important support role within a fast-paced and patient-focused Medical Imaging Department by:
Assisting Medical Imaging staff with patient preparation, transfers and examinations
Coordinating patient flow to support efficient imaging services and timely care
Monitoring electronic worklists and maintaining accurate patient data across multiple systems
Supporting staff communication and liaising with clinical, nursing, operational and administration teams
Assisting with equipment setup, stock management and maintaining clean, organised examination areas
Contributing to a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for patients, visitors and staff
Participating in a rotating shift roster including day, evening, night and weekend shifts
About you:
You will be a motivated and compassionate team player who thrives in a busy clinical environment with:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centred approach
The ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Confidence using information systems and managing competing priorities
A proactive attitude with the ability to respond to changing demands and urgent situations
A commitment to workplace safety, quality standards and respectful care
The physical capability to assist with patient handling and transfers
Allied Health Assistant Certificate III or IV highly regarded but not essential
