An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and customer focused Administration Officer to join the Medical Imaging Department at Nepean Hospital on a casual basis. As the first point of contact for patients, visitors and clinicians, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of high quality diagnostic imaging services within a busy and dynamic healthcare environment.
As an Administration Officer, you will provide a broad range of administrative and reception services to support the efficient operation of the Medical Imaging Department. You will work closely with radiologists, medical imaging staff, clinicians and patients to ensure a positive patient experience and effective service delivery.

What you will bring to the role
  • Demonstrated experienced in Administrative/Reception and booking duties including effective customer service skills
  • Demonstrated excellent organisational and problem-solving techniques with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Possess a positive attitude and sound work ethic whilst adapting to changing work environments
  • Demonstrated ability to show initiative and use sound judgment and work collaboratively and as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Highly developed communication skills (written and oral) with an ability to interact with people at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify issues of relevance, sensitivity and confidently, and knowing when to escalate matters of importance and urgency
  • Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel
