Your new role:
As a Clinical Assistant within Medical Imaging, you'll be an important member of a multidisciplinary team, helping deliver exceptional patient care by providing clinical and administrative support across a range of imaging services. Every day is different as you assist with patient flow, coordinate examinations and work alongside highly skilled healthcare professionals in a dynamic hospital environment.
In this role you will:
Support radiologists, radiographers, sonographers and nuclear medicine technologists with delegated clinical and administrative duties.
Assist with patient preparation, transfers and escorting patients throughout the Medical Imaging department.
Coordinate patient appointments, imaging workflows and transport arrangements to ensure efficient service delivery.
Maintain accurate patient information using hospital and radiology information systems while supporting examination scheduling and tracking.

We're looking for a motivated, organised and compassionate team player who enjoys working in a busy healthcare environment and is committed to providing outstanding support to both patients and clinicians.
You'll be successful if you have:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams.
The ability to work efficiently, prioritise tasks and remain organised in a fast-paced clinical environment.
A strong commitment to patient-centred care, safety and maintaining confidentiality.
Confidence using, or the willingness to learn, hospital information systems and digital technologies.
The ability to work within a delegated scope of practice while recognising when to seek guidance from supervising clinicians.

The Division is an accredited centre that provides education and training for registrars, radiography graduates and students, nursing staff and medical students.
