About the Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic Clinical Assistant to join our Clayfield team on a Permanent, Full-Time basis, providing essential support in our medical imaging departments to ensure high-quality radiology services for our patients.

For this role you need to be available to work, Tuesday to Friday with a fortnightly Saturday.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide assistance to the MRI department, pathology service providers, processing medical images, obtaining blood results, and assisting patients with appointments.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness for clinic facilities and imaging equipment.
  • Collect, package, and store infectious waste/sharps and used developing/fixing solutions according to national standards and company policies.
About You

As an ideal Clinical Assistant, you will bring:
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a medical imaging team, anticipating needs and ensuring patient care standards.
  • Strong commitment to maintaining patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including word processing; experience with Radiology Software is preferred.
  • Previous experience in the Medical Imaging industry is highly regarded.
  • Previous experience in IV cannulation is desirable, however, training can be provided.
