Casual Position | Castle Hill / North-West Sydney | Healthcare / Medical Sales

Mana Medical is seeking an experienced Patient Referral Liaison / Medical Sales Representative to support a skin cancer clinic in the Hills District.

This is a casual, field-based role suited to an experienced medical sales professional who already has strong working relationships with general practitioners, practice managers and primary care clinics in the Castle Hill and north-west Sydney area.

The role will involve visiting GP clinics, building professional referral relationships, educating practices about the clinic’s services and supporting clear communication between referring practices and the clinic.

About the Clinic

The clinic is located in the Hills District and provides dedicated skin cancer medicine services, including skin checks, dermoscopy, biopsies, skin cancer treatment and ongoing skin surveillance.

The clinic is focused on providing high-quality, professional and patient-centred skin cancer care.

About the Role

The representative will be responsible for building awareness of the clinic among local general practices and supporting appropriate patient referral pathways.

This role is initially casual, with the potential to become a longer-term position if the right candidate is found and results are achieved.

The role is expected to involve approximately 8 field days per month initially, with activity and territory priorities agreed in advance.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit general practices and relevant healthcare clinics across Castle Hill and surrounding north-west Sydney.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with GPs, practice managers, nurses and relevant practice staff.
• Educate practices about the clinic’s services, referral pathways and patient care approach.
• Identify priority practices and support territory planning with Mana Medical.
• Provide regular updates on GP engagement, practice feedback and referral pathway opportunities.
• Represent the clinic professionally and accurately using approved messaging and materials.
• Support ongoing follow-up with practices to build awareness and trust over time.
• Aim to complete approximately 6-8 GP/practice visits per field day, subject to access, territory planning and agreed priorities.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

• Existing relationships with GPs, practice managers or primary care decision-makers in Castle Hill and approximately 10-15 kilometres around the Castle Hill / north-west Sydney region.
• At least 3+ years’ experience in medical sales, preferably within a pharmaceutical company, medical device company, primary care sales role or healthcare liaison position.
• Strong understanding of GP practice engagement and referral relationship building.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
• Professional presentation and ability to represent a medical clinic appropriately.
• Ability to work independently in the field and manage a defined territory.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to provide clear activity updates.
• A compliant, respectful and ethical approach to healthcare engagement.

The successful candidate must have:

• Their own reliable car.
• Their own mobile phone and laptop or ipad.
• Ability to travel across Castle Hill and surrounding north-west Sydney.
• Availability for casual field work, initially expected to be approximately 8 days per month.
• Willingness to complete clinic-specific onboarding and use approved clinic messaging only.

Remuneration

Competitive remuneration will be offered based on the successful candidate’s experience, existing GP relationships and suitability for the role.
